ennis is a true representation of a complex character. the scene with him feeling physically sick after leaving the mountain showed how much he conceals his emotions and that was the only way he could let his sadness show. he had deep rooted reasons as to why he acted how he did and they were exploired without just writing him as a selfish character with a bad childhood to make him likeable, the writers and directors did a really great job.

really really good movie, my friendgroup in another universe. captures all elements of comedy and sadnes. the plot is almost meaningless as the part that captivated me (and my friends) the most is the pure childish fun taking over unexciting tasks such as a long walk

i wanted to watch tinkerbell which shows a better example of growth and resilience whereas in this movie the main character (lightning mcqueen) only grows as a person (car ig) as a way to gain what he desires most (doc to help him) and while he eventually shows good morals towards the final minutes is that really enough to excuse his selfishness throughout the majority of the movie?

i think this film is a cinematic masterpiece.
however, while i understand zerinas (idk how to spell her name) return brought many people happiness because they valued her, i do not think she should’ve been praised the way she was for “helping retrieve the blue pixie dust” because that was just her fixing her fatal mistake. on the other hand i see how this can help children (which is the target audience) understand the importance of owning up to mistakes…
