Photocopier 2021
Constantly deliberating whether I should really watch this or not after finding out about the case, then reading some of those intriguing reviews. And yet, here I am.
Kinda have a mixed feeling since this is actually a very good movie (although there are some scenes that are questionable enough). But no doubt, the recent controversy surrounding its co-writer has brutally changed its whole purpose.
Still, it leaves me uneasy after the ending because the prolonged tension of ‘finding the culprit’ storyline and the conscious absence of extended narrative focuses on its characters’ emotional trauma is just rather unsettling.
