A movie about two cops with issues. The first, a perverse narcissist who blames his ex-girlfriend for eating 30 cans of expired pineapple. The second lives in a hovel filled with stuffed animals and talks, among other things, with a rag.
As for the female characters, Wong Kar-wai must have read something about women, but I don't think he has met many in person. It's either that, or his ideal woman must suffer from some kind of personality disorder.
