When your culture , history , artifacts and soul are reduced down to being “things” and “stuff” there’s a disconnect to the significance of what’s truly yours. This was a short movie but i think it was a good representation of how colonization has had an effect on the mentality of not only Africans and Blacks, but any group of people that has dealt with being marginalized.
