For being a film adaption of a book, I felt really satisfied with the portray. Both from actors and the writers/director.
The line "Well if there's going to be a world with no sentiment, Grant, then that's that's not a world I want to live in" from a suicidal man who just lost the love of his life is so sad.
The phone call about Jim's death is just such a heartbreaking scene and Colin acts it out so well.…

This series is amazingly well crafted. I found the lighting, cinematography and color grading absolutely stunning. I loved the different sets too.
