I love when they give some depth to villain characters. Silver was a character we empathize with and never fully lose hope.

I can’t lie, this movie is a masterpiece.
Not a critique but questioning: Do the misfortunes that befall a person justify their descent into darkness? If so, where is the line? Was it poverty that turned Ki-taek into a murderer, or was it the silent humiliations, or the class division?…
