The Color of Pomegranates 1969
The film is visually stunning, with its striking imagery and meticulously crafted frames, yet I struggled to connect with its narrative or evoke any emotional response. Lacking context or a deeper understanding of the film's cultural and historical backdrop, it felt more like an abstract art piece than a coherent cinematic experience. While the aesthetic beauty was undeniable, it ultimately left me feeling disengaged, as the absence of a clear narrative or emotional depth rendered the film more tedious than captivating. I will come back to this film in the future.
