  I watched this for the first time when I was 13 and I swore it was the funniest thing I've ever seen because I was in community theater. However, I'm watching it at 24 and there's very few funny parts. (I don't remember it all so it's not like the jokes have been spoiled). I love the cast but I just feel that maybe a stage production of this is funnier. It dragged and was painful over being funny which is sad

  Giving this film a full review that it deserves.

  MAXXXINE felt like such a wonderful movie to me because it is the only horror movie I've (personally) seen where a woman talks about her danger and people believe her and help her out. There is something to be said about how she is being haunted by her past and the future that Pearl never got to experience.

  After seeing trailers for this movie for 2 months I didn't know what to expect. A solid 3.5 stars because I liked the action part but it felt a little slow at times. They did a good job of laying out the tension.
