i read like half of the book, but i think it is better as a book. we know so little about snow’s history and motivations. you understand he is doing this for himself, but you don’t get how little he cares for anything other than success until Sejanus at the end tbh. obviously, it’s harder to explore internal monologue/motivations in a movie just bc of the medium, but there’s only so much facial expressions and little side comments can do…
