  this was such a good film. it kept my attention right when i was about to lose it. it’s absurdism captured the restlessness of séverine and her giving in to her fantasies, confusing them with reality as she progresses. that is until the two began to mix, and she couldn’t find the separation. this movie emphasized the complexity and unpredictability of people. of how no one could guess motive until it was flat out said. one of my top movies so far in the year.
