A wonderful, tender and informative film about the story of IVF and the journey that led to the birth of the world's first IVF baby.
It takes us back to the 1960s and 1970s, and shows how the passion and commitment of nurse and embryologist Jean Purdy, scientist Dr Robert Edwards and surgeon Patrick Steptoe paved the way for 12 million IVF births.
This is a great biographical film - educational and entertaining, my favourite kind of film!
I loved this so much!!! A different feel to the final instalment in this beloved series and I was very sad that Mr Darcy was not part of this story but the introduction of Rockster and Mr Wallander definately added a fresh dynamic. I loved the relationship between Bridget and Daniel (can’t believe I’m saying that) and was pleased to see Emma Thompson’s character return. It was moving and endearing and heart warming. The soundtrack is also excellent.
