When I saw this trailer I was like, ugh we already have Pretty Woman and it’s perfect, we don’t need another one.. This is NOT pretty woman. Call me naive or lucky but damn, I didn’t know people could be so fucking brutal. That last frame made me hurt for Anora ( at least she got that ring tho).
This movie is so good but wouldn’t be half as good if Mikey Madison wasn’t the lead. Also, I don’t know what I was thinking watching a Sean Baker movie thinking it wasn’t going to be the realest shit on screen. Accolades were well deserved for this one.
