I genuinely forgot I was watching a prequel during this movie. I was so sucked into the politics, emotions and world of The Wasteland and of Furiosa that I forgot this was supposed to lead to another movie. The emotional beats and follow through, the storytelling through simple looks and camera movement is something I can't overstate. The cinematography itself! No-one else does it like a George Miller movie.
