  The Vindicator 1986

  Pleasantly surprised. The final confrontation is pretty silly but everything up to that point works fairly well. Little action, little sci fi, little mystery plus Pam Grier. Effects aren’t bad for the timeframe. Worth a watch.

  I would love to give this 5 stars, it’s great, but the last act is too long with too much repetition. I’m not sure if they were trying to spoon feed the message or they just thought they had filmed so much good stuff they couldn’t cut it, but there was just excess that I felt hurt the emotional impact of the conclusion.

  It’s not good, but I was engaged the whole time. They didn’t try to do too much, they told the exact story they said they would with no extra. Afternoon on the couch stuff.

  In the realm of Mad Max rip-offs, it’s fine.  It was coherent and it wasn’t set in the same gravel pit half of them seem to be trapped in. Really odd music. Seen better, seen worse.
