while trying to denounce, this film mostly glorifies both police work through the lens of the rogue detective who knows better than his superiors and the Lost Cause/Last Stand of "righteous" young White men, making this viable for being inspirational to white supremacists instead of denouncing it. it did a shoddy work at deconstructing, criticizing and ridiculing white supremacy, in the same way Blackkklansman did.

I think i watched this in my old room in Ghent during my bachelor's, while i was deepening my knowledge of the history of the labour movement. I watched this film and had something similar to an epiphany I'm quite sure.
