wow where to start, so gay, so purple, what’s not to love ??? I am a sucker for a piece of media that builds its own underworld/afterlife so this has that in spades. so gorgeous to look at and engrossing from start to finish, manages to be very ethereal and dreamlike without being too overbearing or exhausting to follow, just a barrel of queer joy and hijinks! not to mention the dance numbers towards the end… the group drag performance actually tops nearly any dance number I’ve seen in a movie. this is the kinda stuff sundance is for baby!!
