This movie encapsulates everything wrong with Asian representation in Western media. In recent years for whatever idiotic reason, Asian actors and film-makers have attempted to cleanse the traditional "uptight overachieving Asian" stereotype by writing Asian characters as the polar opposite (stupid, degenerative, sexually explorative to the point of disgust, etc.) in poorly made raunchy comedies. The degenerative characters, weird usage of AAE vernacular, and overuse of disgusting genitalia jokes just really rubs me the wrong way.

This movie could've been something great. Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh are both amazing actors, but I can't for the life of me understand why the writers did their job so poorly. The time cut format of the film, gave me no time to get connected with either character or their relationship, and by the end of the movie I felt so utterly indifferent to every single character on screen and their existence.
