  when it was good it was great

  i was on edge for most of the film, and had goosebumps during the final birthday party 

  the storyline was choppy at best, but the cinematography was excellent

  too many horror tropes crammed into one film

  for some reason i needed either both mia and seb to have a happy ending (either together or apart) or for both of them to be sad - also the fact that there was a 5 year time jump and mia didn’t call/check in once in that timeframe is dumb
