Black Bag 2025
Slick, medium burn Spy “thriller” with that classic Soderbergh style. Fassbender and Blanchett give smooth performances, working from another super solid script from Koepp. Also love the energy from Burke & Abela. It’s a tight well paced 90, but would have loved another 10-15 minutes to let certain plot points play out instead of wrapping everything up via exposition.
Ultimately Black Bag is low key great date movie, with just enough sexiness to add a little something different to this espionage tale. Go see it on the big screen.
