  I don't think there is anything wrong with the film, except that Zhou Xun stamered too much when portraying being shocked. For a Chinese film that has no problems, I should give a high score. In addition: Dou Wei‘s music score is so beautiful! When will the big album come out? Why is Zhang Hanyu’s character called Ye Qingcheng?! Who did Ye Qingcheng mess with?! (Ye Qingcheng is a Chinese romance short story writer.) (Translated by iOS and revised by me)

  I personally love the adaptation of this version, being completely rid of the third volume in the book. I understand how the cousin’s proposal served as a comparison for Jane to recognize true love. But i remember when I read the book, I was confounded as to why it deserved an entire third of the book.
