  I just want to give David Lynch a hug, what a man and what a mastermind. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched, up there with The Sopranos and Breaking Bad for me.   Take a bow Kyle MacLachlan, David Lynch and Mark Frost. This is the greatest TV show I’ve ever watched. Kyle MacLachlan is just so wonderful, he plays 3 completely different characters and excels in all of the roles. David Lynch is splendid as Gordon Cole as I always say.   Just batshit insane, from the direction to the story to the performances. The editing makes you feel like you’re having a stroke but I’ve got to respect what Oliver Stone was doing in this, he tried every technique he could. I thought Tommy Lee Jones stole the show every time he was on screen and I love Juliette Lewis, what a run she was on during this time. I would have much preferred to see what the film was like…

  Julianne Moore joins a cult. I was intrigued to see where this went with the ending and I just found myself being slightly disappointed. I would have liked Todd Haynes to be more daring in the 2nd half of the film, the film just seemed to slowly go out on a whimper. Still worth a watch due to the brilliance of Julianne Moore, the impressive direction of Todd Haynes, and a very intriguing first 2 acts.
