Wow,
Ingmar Bergman strikes again,
This is the second film of his I have watched and it did not disappoint,
Probably the most experimental film I’ve seen but in such a beautiful way.
There are definitely scenes and moments I did not fully understand but that will come with rewatches.
But nonetheless left me speechless.
Visually the film is shot brilliantly with some wonderful dialogue, as well as clever and subtle moments without being over the top.
Wont go into…

I’m in very mixed minds about this one,
On one hand it was brilliant, the diverse facial expressions encapsulating feeling and emotion throughout the film, the harrowing scenes and music.
Probably one of the most realistic war films which captures the ruthlessness and brutality of war.
So from a filmmaking standpoint I can appreciate the brilliance
On the other hand was I kind of bored idk maybe.Translated from by

Struggling to put into words how I’m feeling after watching this.
The first film I’ve watched of Ingmar Bergman but definitely won’t be the last.
The film was slow but beautiful written and as it went on became more and more impactful.
Liv Ullmann was absolutely fantastic with one of the best acting performances I’ve seen in a long time.
Although a tough watch would 100% recommendTranslated from by -
Nosferatu 2024
No rhythm or flow to the film, just seemed like it was jumping between shots and was not pieced together at all
Not sure how it’s been called the ‘scariest film of the year’ because there was about one jump scare right at the start then the film went drastically downhill from there with little to no scenes which made you on edge.
William Dafoe was the only thing positive about this film but even he could not save it.
Was looking forward to watching this as well so very disappointed with the outcome unfortunately.Translated from by
