What a strange, eclectic, yet charming little film. Pattinson just steals the show with his portrayal of Mickey at every turn and I was incredibly surprised at how much I laughed out loud at this movie. It was really well shot, an incredibly intriguing story, and while it did drag a bit in the middle, felt like it concluded well. Creepers are now some of my favorite new creatures and the entire Trump-esque character played by Ruffalo was on the nose but still in a fun enjoyable way. All in, a solid and fun movie.

Damn this movie really has it all. It feels like an awesome fever dream of nostalgia and has so much heart that it genuinely makes you emotional more times than one. The cameos and characters are all awesome and the way it wraps up is so exciting for the future of the character of Spider-Man.

An incredible told story made well ahead of its time. The nuance and acting throughout kept you engaged while the story kept you on the edge of your seat. The ending also felt very against the grain for a mid 1900s movie but that made it feel all the more gripping. A very good movie for Japanese cinema lovers.

An incredibly strange and eclectic movie that certainly isn’t for everyone, but nonetheless has way more charm than it has any right to have. The characters are weird and the style is completely unique, but it all weaves together a beautifully told story that keeps you confused but still engaged once you can get past the weirdness of it all. It was very charming by the end and had some deeply sad and disturbing moments throughout, but a well made movie nonetheless and going to hit very well for adult oriented animation/claymation fans.
