Wow. Sing Sing is phenomenal. Its tender approach to its characters accompanied by some of the most brilliant direction and cinematography is an absolute treat. Domingo and Maclin are perfect here, and actually the entire cast was giving it their all. The soft soundtrack mixed with the emotional weight of the movie is really something. Genuinely mad at myself for not seeing this in theaters, and even though a complete unknown was my favorite movie from 2024, sing sing could’ve easily taken every award and I would’ve been so happy. A truly special film.
