Deflated. I was absolutely sure this didn’t need a sequel, and I think I was right unfortunately.
All the aesthetics were great - beautifully shot, great sound and set design etc.
However…
Harley Quinn is essentially null and void by the end of the film. The jumps from Arthur Fleck to Joker are too drastic and confusing, and the musical pieces were way over the top - it felt like when the plot was going somewhere, a song was thrown…
