  Shia Labeouf has written a deeply personal screenplay that shows the dysfunctional and difficult relationship between him and his father during the early days of his career.

  Noah Jupe and Shia Labeouf's chemistry is really great with all three leads giving a really powerful performance. 

  Seeing Otis' desperate need for love and affection through his relationship with a woman and in a daydream of his father telling him he loves him is heartbreaking.

  Good direction, cinematography, and an award deserving performance by Shia Labeouf make this a great watch.
