I'm still not convinced this film wasn't a fever dream i had after eating a whole block o' cheese...If indeed it is real, then mere words cannot capture its magic!....

Starcrash 1978
Must be witnessed to be seen! An almighty space pudding that somehow charms, beguiles and amuses whilst being mostly very bad, and yet good, at the same time!
Marvel at Christopher Plummer's Golden Codpiece...Snigger at David Hasslehoff's lightsaber bikinis...Get mildly aroused by Caroline Munro's...costumes!...
Maestro Luigi Cozzi - who i had the great pleasure to meet in Rome at the shop he manages for Dario Argento - Profondo Rosso - is an efficient and imaginative director who could have done even more in his filmmaking career...But there are not many of us who can say they made 'Italian Star Wars'!? Cozzi can...Cozzi did....

The Psychic 1977
A deep, cold and trauma-laden sense of dread and foreboding lurks in every frame. Fulci was deep into his misanthropic cinematic odyssey by now: each new film like an emanation from the hell of its maker's mindscape...
Alongside his 1972 Masterpiece 'Don't Torture a Duckling', 'The Psychic' prods and torments the viewer's fears, always threatening to commit some heinous act upon our eyeballs (any Fulci afficionado will know of the eye's significance)...
Seek it out, watch it alone, late at night, when your subconscious is most vulnerable to visitors from the cinematic id...
