  Wow it truly is wonderful!

  Watched this with mum, we both loved it, been a long time since there was a new movie we both wanted to see.

  The most theatrical of Wes’ offerings, in the best possible way, with just enough “hey this could only happen in a movie” that makes it feel not like a filmed stageplay (which would have been cool regardless).

  Everyone is perfect in every role. I laughed, I cried, I wound back the tape to check out Art Deco lamps and read the unintelligible handwritten titles (prolly works better on a bigger screen).

  Loved it, possibly my fav Wes.

  I could’ve hung out in the first ten minutes of this film for the full 2 hours, just watching Jamie Foxx as a taxi driver, chatting with clientele.

  But, the rest of the film is baller too.

  Incredible performances from both Foxx and Cruise: loved Jaime’s mousy Max, those glasses do wonders for him; and Tom’s usual leading man persona melted perfectly into Vincent’s manipulative and metaphorical visage.
