After Yang 2021
An explosively fun opening credits sequence is the biggest dose of mirth and levity we get in this perhaps too-lean, too-somber sci-fi meditation on what it means to be alive. On the scale of Getting Me to Care About Robots, it's pretty well below Iron Giant territory. If having a robot makes me this mopey and existential, I don't want one!
Add or remove a star based on how excited/repulsed you are that this is an A24-distributed movie with one (1) Ryuichi Sakamoto and one (1) Mitski song on the soundtrack.
