Whelp it was about time I saw this. Absolutely incredible movie. PTA definitely has some thoughts on religion and capitalism and they show up all da time. I think he might be the king of not necessarily rewatchable movies but also super rewatchable movies.

Rebel Ridge 2024
Look past the terrible southern accents and there’s a pretty great movie here. Ton of twists, plays with movie expectations and a bunch of cool action scenes. Aron Pierre is both terrifying and heartbreaking. Could’ve been like 20 minutes shorter.

Megalopolis was a load of nonsense mixed with a whole jumble of metaphors and analogies. Grace Vanderwaal literally yelling “you can see right through me” comes to mind.
