I love telling people there’s a guy in this movie with my name and he’s Just Like Me and then they see how he is and there’s this moment where they kinda look at me like what the fuck.

The Sting 1973
A bit of a slog, at times overly convoluted: when you’re on the same page as or only a step behind a grift, the movie is at its best and delivers satisfying and entertaining scenes but i spent so much of the movie not understanding what was happening and especially not understanding the motives of characters in scenes felt like the movie was trying to string you along just a bridge too far. Really good camera work tho, good framing and cute transitions
