Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
There's a lot to like here: Indiana Jones, a compelling villain, time travel. They play up the grumpy old man bit too much, and Indy's new co-heroes are unsympathetic and uninteresting. It also feels like several plot devices were tacked on rather than leaving Indiana Jones behind in the past (would have been a better ending). But it's a pretty fun movie overall.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull 2008
Not sure why Speilberg dialed up the goofiness to 11 on this one. It is sometimes discordant, lots of goofy pratfalls and comic relief and then suddenly the Ruskies massacre like 80 natives, then more silliness. Like in Ark and Last Crusade, the goal object is really just a MacGuffin to keep everyone running around, punching, and shooting. But it's still reasonably fun.
