Overall, this was a very disappointing film for me. Have it being my first De Palma movie with help from DeNiro and a very intriguing story of Al Capone and his reign of power within early 1930s Chicago, safe to say I was expecting much more. Holy shit, that movie was a trip and a half. The first PTA film I watched was ‘There will be blood’ and I wasn’t necessarily as blown away as some of my fellow moviegoers were but it was a good movie nonetheless. This movie, on the other hand, had me engaged and laughing from start to finish.
