First half in Mexico is good but then it goes kinda… uhhhh not really for me. I think Luca is one of our most interesting directors, but this didn’t fully land except for Daniel Craig’s performance. I just got bored :/

Would’ve been better if the film had really tilted into the weird and wacky themes and horror elements it plays with. Found myself frustrated because it never really fully *went* there and just felt a bit unbalanced, but I did think some insights into the human condition were interesting and profound. Amy Adams innocent.

Pretty good on some fronts, especially the performances of Timmy and Elle Fanning. Monica Barbaro has an incredible singing voice. Tell me why I needed to know the entire history of Bob Dylan’s life and career to fully enjoy this film? Seems if you didn’t know anything about him beforehand you aren’t gonna know that much more after the fact 🫤
