Sexy and simple espionage piece. Rather than overdramatising the “whodunnit” story, Black Bag is attractive, offering a variety of commendable performances, and simplifying the genre. Prioritising dialogue over any type of action, the twists and turns are fairly predictable, the chemistry between characters not always the best, but the gloomy and mysterious atmosphere throughout is executed successfully, adding needed ambience amongst moments of dragging conversation.
