Astoundingly alright. Both actors did a great job, shooting on location is always amazing. But somehow, even being a Jew with lineage to Poland, the movie didn’t connect for me.

It’s so beautiful I forgot I was with my life long mistress for 3 and 1/2 hours. Brody’s timing was impeccable and the story moved me. If it wasn’t 3 1/2 hours I would love to watch it again because I’m sure I missed so much.
