A Chorus Line 1985
A lot of these characters weren’t compelling enough to warrant their screentime, and the music wasn’t as good as I was expecting.
I was kind of at a loss until I learned that they meddled with this adaptation a bunch and made basically all the wrong calls on what to cut and change. They even made the score worse, nobody involved with this had any idea what they’re adapting were doing.
I wish I’d watched a cam rip of this on broadway, what a waste of time. This is the Majora’s Mask 3d of musicals I guess.

The Paloni Show! Halloween Special! 2022
The shorts would’ve been really cool if they’d released individually on YouTube or as bumpers, but when played back to back for an hour straight not many of them are funny or creative enough to stay entertaining. I’m a big fan of a lot of the creators in this, but their work does not translate well to this format. The host segments were particularly agonizing.

While watching this, I was thinking to myself “this feels like someone who watches prominently Marvel movies watched a Jordan Peele film and tried to imitate it.”
