Lady Bird 2017
Lady bird is one of the best coming of age movies I have ever seen, while still sticking to an honestly predictable and done-before plot in it's broad strokes. Where lady bird excels is in the details-- dialogue, acting, casting, the complexities of different relationships, the unique script writing, etc. If you are looking for something to inspire a warmth for your complex childhood, this is the one.

Oh my god what can I say that hasn't already been said? This movie is amazing!!! It's such an honest portrayal of a dysfunctional family, it's full of hilarious dark humor, wonderful acting, beautiful cinematography and a matching soundtrack. This is a must watch movie!!!!

Words cannot describe how much i despise this movie. I don't do .5 values, but this is genuinely below a 1. It would be a 1 star if it didn't also absolutely shit on one of my favorite franchises of all time. Screw you disney for trying to marvel-ize any property you can get your mundane hands on.
