  A beautiful Sofia Coppola film. I got the male perspective on the girls almost instantly; how it made them objects, how it stifled us getting to know the Lisbon sisters. But it never really hit home with me the way her other movies do. I never felt like I was *in* the story, like I have with her other films. I didn’t *feel* the characters’ feelings as I have with other movies directed by her. And I missed that. But…
