    The PERFECT watch.

Interstellar was the film which started it all, my first ever log on letterboxd. So when I saw this was playing on TV tonight, I knew that this was the perfect film and the perfect opportunity for it to be my 1000th review on this app. And on top of that, about half an hour through this viewing I also hit 1000 followers which is just absolutely unbelievable. I can't believe it and can't thank you guys…

    ★★½

I honestly think that this film is at its best in the twenty minutes before the chocolate factory. It had heart and it gave a nice introduction to all the characters etc. From then on it's just such an annoying watch with silly musical numbers, stupid dialogue and I'm really not a fan of the Oompa Loompas and Willy Wonka in this. The production design is of course great though.

    The Electric State

    ★★

Post Endgame, the Russo Brothers seem unbothered about their projects. The Electric State was lifeless and dull, with no style or exciting filmmaking on display. The plot had potential but was delivered in the most boring way possible, with shallow characters and sloppy writing. I kinda feel bad for the cast because there are some good actors in here, but working with a whole load of nothing is obviously very difficult. I don't understand why the film was set in…
