I am actually so fed up of jump scares. they are simply a pathetic, cheap, and disappointing way to quickly induce your fight or flight response. this film holds no structure, and has these jump scares with annoyingly loud vine boom sound effects alongside either these laughable smiling faces, or maybe poor video effects of disturbing nothingness. this film has zero enjoyment value as there is no structure to this dissatisfying mess.
also, maybe a spoiler. when the big smile monster was set on fire, the cgi was so poor it looked like that gif of that funny chrome alien doing that little dance.
