The Electric State 2025
As a fan of the source material, this was pretty painful to watch. The Russos butchered a piece of art. The book is grittily gorgeous and meaningful, this movie, unfortunately, is not. It feels like the whole making of this movie, a soulless, pointless, pretentious flick, conflicts with what the story actually wants to get across. Unplug, take reality with all its highs and lows, be alive. Nothing in this film is. Least of all the human actors.

The Wild Robot 2024
I was one of the lucky few, who had the chance to see a first glimpse of the movie at the Annecy Festival for animation.
Chris Sanders showed us two sequences and a making off. It was stunning in any way. The characters, the designs, the look, the animation, the story.
This is Dreamworks' 30th anniversary film and it's a more than worthy celebration for that occasion.This review is a prognosis, but I'm pretty sure the film will live up to it.
