  Insane masterpiece script. Almost goes to cringeville but then takes a left turn to genius town. Characters aren’t particularly deep but this movie is kind of like a fable so they don’t need to be. They serve their purpose just enough to make the movie work. It helps that all of the actors are great (Kate Winslet especially). Tech bro Mark Ruffalo and weirdo Elijah Wood were funny. Has a great 2000’s stink on it. Also a great score. Big fan.
