Beautiful Boy 2018
One of the most heart-rending movies I have ever seen. Steve Carrell and Chalamet do what they do best. Sensationally devastating. Soundtrack is very diverse but rather fitting.

I finished watching this movie last night, but I’ve seen it at least 5 times before. This may be the only movie that I actually enjoy LESS the more I watch it. It’s thought-provoking, but I think they could’ve done a better job at exploring their themes further. And rising from the dead because Trinity kisses Neo? Ridiculous. At least make up some mildly plausible reasoning for why the hell that works rather than just inserting dramatic music and stopping bullets.

Howl's Moving Castle 2004
If you know me, you’ll know that the fact that I’m even writing a review for this is shocking. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the film thoroughly, but felt that it lacked necessary subtleties that would’ve allowed me to rate it higher. One of the most beautiful piano pieces I’ve ever heard so I have to give it kudos for that.
