Loved this as a first viewing. Later on down the line I’d be interested to see if this gets better or totally falls apart on a rewatch, but that’s for another time. Right now: incredible.
I also love that Chis Nolan basically got Michael Caine to play the same role twice in back-to-back films.
“Screenplay by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan” made me chuckle at the end too even if that’s probably the point and/or inspiration.
Struck this off the watchlist as he passes. Shame there was only a passing mention to the lean, mean grilling machine as they spent a lot of time on the boxing he did in his spare time. RIP George.
