Oh wow, how can watching a fuzzy bear on a mission to find his aunt, leading to an adventure full of mystery and a touch of tension—leave such a delightful yet heartwarming impression? At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt after the movie ended. But after some quiet reflection, I realized it brought back a kind of fun I hadn’t experienced in a long time.

It’s been a while since I’ve been so moved by an animated film, but this one really suprised me. I never imagined I’d be so captivated by a nearly hour-and-a-half-long journey featuring a cat and its animal friends. What stands out the most is the film’s unique animation style. It’s visually stunning.

What really impressed me is how the film manages to communicate so much without any dialogue. The characters are brought to life through their movements and expressions. Every little detail, especially in the cat’s eyes, adds depth to the character and makes it feel real, even without words.

I was initially hesitant, but the movie ended up exceeding my expectations. Although there are some flaws in the story, the film manages to create an eerie atmosphere and build intense jump scares. From its interesting premise that can grab the audience's attention until the end to Aghniny Haque's astonishing performance and the various techniques used to shoot each scene that enhance the film itself.

They should've let the pool technician do their jobs from the start.

Well, starting the year with watching the new movie from Blumhouse Productions, Night Swim is neither a great nor a bad film. Although the premise was intriguing, the execution of the climax didn’t reach its peak because of its weak characterisation.
The build-up to the jumpscare lived up to its eerie atmosphere. The cinematography works fine under or above the surface.

There's always something chilling about the end…
