Scream (1996) is one of the few horror films of the time that features excellent acting from those involved. The film begins with pure tension and a sense of mystery and curiosity that persists from start to finish. It also has a well-written script, a well-structured and developed plot, entertaining characters and an ending that mixes a somewhat βrealisticβ vision with a hint of madness. Zathura: A Space Adventure 2005
A distant memory from my childhood. Despite having watched it again, I still believe that Zathura is a lost gem. It's not a very technical movie; the script isn't spectacular, the protagonists aren't the best, and so on. But to be honest, it's a movie that fulfills its role very well. Behind all the childishness, there's entertainment in a simple plot that does what it's supposed to. It amused me in a way, and I even found the general idea interesting. It's not a good movie, but it could have been awful, which it was far from being.

Perfect Blue 1997
I liked the movie, for the first thirty minutes. I just don't understand why everyone speaks highly of this movie. It's not uncomfortable, it's just bad. Everything about it is uninteresting, characters barely deepened, story without any salt. Psychological terror? Where? I just want to understand 10% of all this hype for this movie. Honestly, one of the biggest time wasters I've ever seen.

Asteroid City 2023
It's a total waste of time. Put a bunch of famous actors in a movie by a super-acclaimed director, and you've got the biggest piece of nothing. What the hell was that movie? It starts interestingly with a proposal for a small town that has an apparent history around a crater, ok! Let's see what mystery we discover about this! And then the movie ends with a horrible, convoluted plot. Boring, poorly made and unsavory film. Congratulations, Wes.
