  A bunch of guys with ridiculous hair just elbow dropped on my heart. 

  At the end, the Von Erichs did live under a curse, but it wasn’t as mystical as they thought, it was their own father. Fritz applied so much pressure to them, like an iron claw, that it led to horrible outcomes.

  If this was fiction, I would say that this (hard to believe) scenario was just created to depict humans in their most primitive, crude versions…but it’s not. 

  Wow it blows my mind to think they achieved this against all odds and in the harshest conditions. The film does a great job of making you feel as if you were in that situation and it really shakes you to the core, but always with the upmost respect. 

  This is one of those stories that just leaves you wanting to know more and more.

  Ari Aster… what the fuck? 

  If Beau is Afraid ended after its first half this would be a 4 star review and I would recommend it as a fun, experimental new film. However, it does not. 
  It keeps and keeps going, reaching lengths it just shouldn’t. It gets so visceral and revolting for absolutely no reason and derails so hard. This is just a 3 hour nightmare that is to be watched only out of curiosity, but I would strongly advise against it.
