Finally got to see Disney's new live action adaptation of Snow White, and despite some of the buzz around the casting, I was pleasantly surprised. While the animated Snow White isn't exactly the most dynamic princess (spending a good time of the original film asleep) and though she was Disney's first, I think this live-action version takes the core premise and smartly updates it for a 2025 audience.

"Mickey 17" was a breath of fresh air, a film I thoroughly enjoyed. It blends science fiction with comedy seamlessly. Robert Pattinson, hats off to him! His performances (plural), as he plays multiple versions of the character, are phenomenal. I found myself getting a bit bored at times, as the movie wasn’t consistently scary. However, the horror scenes that were included were well-executed and effective. Naomi Scott delivered a phenomenal performance, I absolutely loved her! The music was also fantastic, setting the right tone throughout. Overall, though, I thought the plot was just okay and could have been more engaging.

An amazing movie! The ending perfectly ties everything together, revealing the main character’s motivations in a powerful way. Not a single boring moment! I was captivated the entire time. The intermission was a brilliant decision, making the experience even better, and I hope more long films follow this initiative. Watching it in IMAX was truly unforgettable. Everyone should see this 👏🏻
