I wanted to like this a lot more than I did, but I just didn't feel anything during this movie. It falls into the same trap as Iron man 2 did for me. This will probably be an important movie for world building in retrospect, but in the moment it just doesn't feel like... anything. I don't know, I'll have to watch it one more time to form a better opinion and a more complete review.
Love the connections to the 2008 Hulk movie though!
A prequel to a prequel. It's fine, but it seems like most of the movie is just build up so we can have a bat-shit crazy third act. I do like the way things come full circle at the very end though.
Blew me away, what a spectacle. It's got it all, deep lore, fantastic acting, amazing sound mixing, the score is top notch, and an absolutely beautiful looking film on top of all of it. Plot is interesting too, may leave you wanting more in a good way. I can't wait to read the books now and get lost in this world.
